Clifford Burkett  pictured here in his workshop where he makes pieces of art out of wood with his scroll saw. Clifford at 83 years old has made his hobby an enterprising business.  Most of Clifford life he has been in construction.  After his retirement he continued to keep himself busy working with his hands. 
  Clifford’s Clocks and Plaques are all handcrafted.  Each piece is crafted with a scroll saw no two are alike.  His knowledge of wood gives his work a special touch that only true craftsmen could do.  Most of the pieces are left with a natural look so that the beauty of the wood can be seen.
  As you shop though Clifford’s collections you can see that he has many different interests.  His Christmas ornaments and wall decoration will be introduced this summer. Everyone will have a chance to pick up some real original items for Christmas.  What ever items you choose from Clifford’s collections you will have many years of enjoyment out of them.

  JoJean Burkett  passed away in 2006 leaving a legacy of her talented art work and crafts.  Her flamboyant personality influenced her work.  She spent many years in art and craft classes then; creating her own unique technique.  Her flower collection is the first in many of her works that has been released by the Burkett family to share with our shoppers.   JoJean was known for her talent of  making greeting cards.  This endeavor has been continued by her equally talented daughter Yvette Burkett.. 

  Yvette Burkett  is one of the most versatile talented artists we have on the Burketts Galleria website.  She paints in multimedia, her basket weaving is very original and she is now continuing with the greeting card production that her mother started.  She is self-taught in the arts and crafts.  Yvette is always finding new avenues to express her creativity.  Yvette said that she can see the finished product take shape as she get inspiration.  It will be interesting to see what new endeavors Yvette adds to her Portfolio.
